Abby Bentley’s Monkey in a Coconut is a musical comedy solo show. This true is story of what happened when a second-grade teacher brought a coconut to school and claimed her dad, a scientist at the nuclear bomb plant on the outskirts of town, implanted it with a monkey embryo. The show follows Abby and the other characters at the day school as they grapple wit the questions: “Can I trust authority?” “Is evolution real?” “Will this coconut hatch?”
